Covid-19 Policy

Going forward there are procedures that we are putting in place to make your visit to the salon as safe and enjoyable as possible.

 

Visiting the salon

We will not be accepting walk-ins during this time. You must only attend the salon if you have an appointment.

We will be taking payment for your service 1-3 days prior to your appointment to minimise the time in the salon and around the desk.

If more than an inch is taken off of your hair this is classed as a restyle and not a trim. It will therefore be charged at restyle price as this takes your stylist longer to carry out. Approx £5 more than a ‘trim’.

Currently there will be a £3 surcharge in place to cover the extra costs of PPE and provisions we have had to put in place due to Covid-19.

You must come to the salon with a mask/face covering. Please wear this on arrival and for the duration of your appointment.

We will be serving limited cold/hot drinks in disposable cups, but it is strongly advised to bring your own drink.

On your arrival to the salon please wait outside, observing social distancing rules and wait to be called into the salon. Arrive at your agreed time and please ensure not to be late as we may not be able to accommodate a late arrival.

On entering you must use the hand sanitiser provided.

Your temperature will be taken to ensure all customers are well and minimise risk to other customers and staff, if this is unfortunately too high in this case you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook at a later date.

You will be checked in and out of the salon by a staff member at the door and asked a few short questions;

  • Have you had a cough in the last few days?
  • Have you had any change in taste and smell?
  • Have you had a high temperature?

Please do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell, have a temperature or if any person in your household is unwell or self-isolating. We will rearrange your appointment to the nearest possible time.

When checking out of the salon any products or in salon treatments must be paid via contactless payment before your departure.

Clients must bring minimal belongings as you will be asked to keep everything with you at all times.

We ask that clients attend their appointments alone.

You will be taken straight to your stylist’s section to minimise time waiting.

24 hours notice is needed to cancel your appointment with a full refund.

We will currently be taking bookings for kids cuts from 1st August.

We are happy to discuss any of your individual concerns, please feel free to contact us regarding any worries you may have. We are doing our best to ensure everyone feels comfortable ready for their appointments.

 

The salon

We have undertaken a thorough review of our salon and services.

We have rearranged where necessary to adhere to social distancing guidelines and we will not be using some chairs and basins to maintain this.

Every surface will be cleaned regularly between clients.

All items of equipment will be disinfected before and after every service.

Disposable gowns and towels will be used at all times.

We will be extending our opening hours and dividing our teams over these hours to reduce the number of individuals in the salon at one time.

Screens have been installed at our reception desk.

Our music will be a little quieter than normal to ensure everyone can hear each other without shouting!

 

Our team

All team members are trained to care for our customers in a hygienic, safe and professional manner.

We have agreed social distancing for our team in communal staff areas.

Staff temperatures will be taken on arrival to work and they have been briefed to not attend the salon if they have a temperature, are feeling unwell or are self-isolating.

 

Our professional services

Our team will wear visors and aprons on the salon floor and will wash and disinfect their hands before and after every client interaction.

In-salon consultations will be done at a styling station and via a mirror to minimise face to face interaction.

Clients will be sat at one seat for their whole visit unless using the basins, which will be cleaned after each client.
